    Initial site nearly up ...

Okay, here i go again. I've installed a m4v in my site, which i had then converted to flv to make the file smaller. It cut the size of the file in half. However, the buffering and streaming of the thing is insane. And then it just stalls about a quarter of the way in. My question is this. I'd...

    Initial site nearly up ...

Well, you guys haven't heard from me for oh, about 12 hours or so now. Which mean ... success!! I'm quite happy with the result, althought there are still a few problems, like buffering and streaming, which I hope I'll get through soon. But i sent off the url, and now, we wait. But hopefully...

    Initial site nearly up ...

Yes, I'm using Cyberduck, and that totally worked. I was able to delete the unnecessary folders and such. However. Yesterday, when i uploaded the first site, it went into the www folder all by itself. Isn't that where the files should reside? Except that when i went to the url, i came first to...

    Initial site nearly up ...

Oh, i just hate bothering you guys. I just don't wanna mess things up. I tried just deleting the files in my cpanel, and then uploading the new files. However, it seems my directory has become confused. There are folders where they shouldn't be ... and of course, as a result, the new files...

How to actually get the site up and running.

I have created a much smaller file. I was wondering if i should try Cyberduck to upload. It seems to be supported by Sandvox ... Do i need a special FTP account for this process? Thanks.

How to actually get the site up and running.

Nope. Still can't get anything working. Have redone the page without all video, podcast content. Can't get Sandvox to upload, can't test connectivity, and have not yet tried uploading manually, but i suppose that prolly won't work either, because i can only publish the first five pages. Unless...

How to actually get the site up and running.

Yep, did all that. Should be working. But it's not. And now I'm being told by several different error messages that I am over the quota. How can that be, if it is unlimited everything? Man. Now what.

How to actually get the site up and running.

Thank you Dead-i. Much appreciated. One more thing. Am I correct in saying that after i've uploaded my Sandvox document called DM1.sandvox, i can change the name within my file manager to index.html and then all should be well? And why after it's uploaded, is it .zip? How does this affect...

How to actually get the site up and running.

Ok. I changed the server to x10hosting.com ... i've read from Sandvox help that the best way to go is to use SFTP. I know the password. Am looking for the port number information ... Ok. The port number is automatically filled in for me. I just don't know what the folder: is supposed to be ...

How to actually get the site up and running.

As an afterthought, i thought i'd mention, that there is no file called Index.html ... when I try to change the name of the web document created with Sandvox to Index.html ... my comp (Mac) tells me i cannot do this. So. I'm a little a loss what to do. I COULD try to upload it with Sandvox...

How to actually get the site up and running.

Funny you mentioned the case sensitive thing. As habit, i generally keep all file names in lower case ... however. When I checked my files, i see that quite a few of them are Capitalized!! <sigh> My url: msl.x10.mx ... which i assume translates into http://msl.x10.mx? Thanks you essellar...

How to actually get the site up and running.

Thank you so! Essellar! ... well, when i go to my url, all i see is my index. I also see a copy of my Sandvox software zipped, but I cannot seem to upload the actual Sandvox document itself which puts all the files together ... And yes, I have cleared my cache several times over the past few...
