|PS|*Blur text Tutorial*

Hey all, i said i would make a tutorials about this, for maverick and the other's that are interested , it's pretty simple , i took a signature as example

#STEP 1:

Open up Adobe photoshop and create a new document 500x100 pixel 96 dpi, with background set to white

#Step 2:

Made a signature just for an example i made this just as example

#Step 3:

Add your text to your signature i added this text.

#Step 4

Right click your text layer and click on rasterize layer

Rasterize your text layer and copy it by right clicking it and then duplicate layer

#Step 5:

Select the duplicated text layer. Then create a new layer name it blur effect
and go to your tools palet

Select the Blur tool, and be sure check the checkbox :excl: ON ALL LAYERS :exclat the top)

Now move your mouse over the text still on the blureffect layer, till you like what you see:

BE SURE THAT THE BLUR EFFECT LAYER IS IN BETWEEN THE TEXT LAYER AND THE DUPLICATED TEXT LAYER LIKE THIS:

#STEP 6:

Now open up imageready

Add a new frame to the timeline

Now on that frame select the the duplicated text layer and put of it's eye off

Now on frame 2 select the duplicated text layer again and switch off Propagate frame 1 changed:

Now Tween the frames see picture

Now press play and watch the result

That's it

Now all you need to do is go to file>save optimized as

And save your sig :laughing:

I have an example but it's not this signature, but it's the same effect

Well you can always alter this effect to blur in and out or make a gradient flash over it.Make it flash etcetera

Hey dude no problem.. been away for awhile since i couldnt get on the site becus somehow my ie settings blocked the ads and only showed a blank page!But thats over..... anyways im making some tutorials again so stay tuned :hug:
