Did you make sure that you have POP3 and IMAP enabled on your email account? Outlook needs at least POP3 to recognize your email.

I don't use the X10 hosting email, so I'm not too sure >.> However, there should be a menu somewhere on your x10 CPanel that deals with email settings. Try looking around for it - the same menu that would deal with "blocked addresses" and such should have POP3 and IMAP enabling.
