FF3 has an auto-refresh in it? I thought only extensions were responsible for that behavior.. do all websites auto refresh for you? Or just that particular one

FireFox 3 doesn't do that for me. Do you have any extensions installed that could be causing a problem? Also which version of FireFox 3 are you using? Beta? RC?

Note: There is an extension called ReloadEvery that will automatically reload the page, but I've never had any problems with that

This can't be a built in feature for Firefox, that wouldn't make sense... so either you've got an add-on that's controlling auto-refresh or there's a bug?

No it is for firefox RC1 or the latest I don't know I read something where you can't disable the meta tags or something.

Mmm. Don't see that problem here. Might be something on your end.

uninstall it and all of the addons, then reinstall it - should help. I dont ever use firefox.. Its not my type - i use Opera, it uses its own buttons, mouse, background, and combos!
