My Avatar City MMO Testers needed!

My Avatar City is a Virtual World like SecondLife. Most everything that you can do in secondlife is possible in my avatar city. We are still under development but we are looking for people to test and let us know about bugs.

Register - http://opensim.hopto.org/dev/

Once registered you will be taking to a thankyou page after 10 seconds there the client will start to download.

Install the client and start it up

To connect click on Grids and do the following:

1) Click add
2) enter http://opensim.hopto.org:8002 for the login uri and click on get grid info
3) Click apply
4) Enter your avatar's first and last name and password
5) click connect

We are currently not accepting any new members at this time. We haven't yet gotten switched over to a dedicated server but once we do we will once again be accepting new members. We have a dedicated server its just a matter of getting everything switched. You can visit our website and join our forum at http://www.myavatarcity.com the site is still under development but the forums are working just fine. My Avatar City is now back up. We still don't have it setup on a dedicated server yet but in time we will. The Game is still in development and we have some really cool stuff planned for it. While the Virtual World is in development membership is free but we can not promise it will be up 100% of the time until we get it on dedicated servers and even then there will be some downtime for server restarts and things of that nature.

Once the game goes live there will be a monthly fee for it of about $10. However new players will be able to sign up on a tourist pass for a 7 to 14 day tour of the worlds hot spots. Do you like to take a stroll along the beach and relax in a elegant hotel? Then sign up for the beach tour and visit some of the worlds best beaches and hotels. That is just one example of a possible tour. We will have a whole list of tours you can sign up for. We will even have seasonal tours. Tours will also offer classes with some of our top content designers and programmers So in the event you decide to become a resident after your tour you will have everything you need to jump right in and take part in our community.
