My index page is not working

Hi,
I followed the instructions and placed the index.html file in www folder,but when I preview my site using my url, the page is not visible,it shows doamain available page.Please help in setting ,my home page.

did you set the nameservers?

Your domain is http://myfriends.x10hosting.com
And your index.html file is http://myfriends.x10hosting.com/index.html

Now tell me what is your problem??
