I'm trying to move from http://scra.x10hosting.com to http://scra.me and I'm getting a ERRS85030 error.

Essentially, it's the same issue described in http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/110106-modify-my-domain.html

If you could help me out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi scrame,

Have you tried adding http://scra.me as an add-on domain using your cPanel? This can be done by logging in to your cPanel, clicking on Add-On Domains, and adding scra.me to the list. This will act as an equivalent of using http://scra.me as your main domain name.

Ah, that does work.

I would prefer if I could get rid of the subdomain.x10hosting.com though. Is there an easy way to do that?

Hi scrame,

I'm sorry about this but I intended to say Parked Domain instead of Add-on Domain above. -___-"

Add-on domains are for creating separate sites within your main site, and parked domains make the domains equivalent to the x10Hosting subdomain you originally had.

If you want http://scra.me to point to the root of your website, please remove it from the add-on domain list and add it to the parked domain list.

Again, I'm sorry about the misstatement. -.-

As for the subdomain.x10hosting.com URL, once you have a main domain added to your cPanel as a parked domain, the subdomain becomes essentially pointless and you no longer have to use it. It doesn't hurt anything to have it there, as it will just sit and point to your website when someone types it in. You can even set it up to forward to http://scra.me using the .htaccess. Is there a specific reason you would like to get rid of it?

just for simplicity... I'd rather have it all in one place...

Hi scrame,

According to the other ticket that you linked to in your first post, it appears like the only solution for the error code is to have an account manager manually add the domain name to your account. Would you like for me to do that? Please note that if I escalate your ticket to an account manager, it may not be tended to immediately, and you may have to wait for your domain settings to be finalized.

If you could, that would be great!

I'm getting things to work, but I'd still like have it escalated. Thanks!

Hi scrame,

I have escalated this ticket up to account managers, who will tend to this as soon as possible.

Note to account managers: Please change this user's main domain name to http://scra.me. This user cannot do it independently because they are receiving an error.

Please click on the colored bar at the top of this page to be taken to your newly escalated ticket. You can log in with your forum credentials to check the status of your ticket. Please post all additional responses regarding this issue in your new escalated ticket.
