I got this to install with no errors. Everything works perfectly, except for the Quote last message. When I check the box, only [ quote ] [ / quote ] (without spaces of course) gets inserted, not the last message.

am I supposed to refresh the browser and template or something?

The kind of language I use when I write is certainly different from the language I speak. There is nothing clear, concise or direct about my writing, and it seems that the more clarity I try to infuse the more opaque the writing gets. At my worst, I write in a language not-so-lovingly known as ``Technical Textbook'', a language that looks for all the world like English, at least insofar as most of the words can be found in the \em{Oxford Dictionary of the English Language}, but anyone who has ever read a textbook has probably had a sneaking suspicion that what they were reading was either an elaborate hoax or a foreign, and quite possibly extraterrestrial, language which, by an inexplicable coincidence, had a vague surface resemblance to English. You may be intimately familiar with each and every one of the words on the page, but they are put together in a way that appears to be designed specifically to prevent the accidental transfer of meaning.

At best, my words say exactly what they mean to say, but in their distracted, autistic way will not to get directly to the point, prefering, instead to go on and on, wandering hither and thither through the dark forests of parenthetical thought (there is nothing like a quiet walk in the woods, is there?) making it seem as though I've left my original thoughts on the doorstep of some literary orphanage, piling metaphor upon parable until the tower is so high the reader can imagine reaching the moon (but never the end of the sentence) before carefully tracing their steps back to the familiar trail from whence they started, finally saying what it was they meant to say in the first place, which is simply that there will likely be a lot of words to cope with.
