Hello,

I will be temporarily moving to China for a while and I am wondering, in case I am unable to get through "the great firewall of China ", what my options will be.

Any suggestions? and does 10hosting consider a VPN a proxy (even though the literature on the interwebs considers them different)?

Thanks,
G.S. McAm

does 10hosting consider a VPN a proxy
short answer - YES (for TOS) - any connection that hides the user's geo-location

VPN technology is also used by individual Internet users to circumvent geo-restrictions and censorship, and to connect to proxy servers for the purpose of hiding personal identity and location

if you are using a proxy -:- or you are using VPN -:- or you are using something like TOR -:- or any tunneling protocol --- you CAN NOT setup -:- or open -:- or log-into a x10hosting's free-hosting account

Thank you. That would explain a few things.

Any suggestions otherwise?

Hello,

You can sign up for a premium account which has no such restrictions in place but there is no work around for free hosting customers. To view premium accounts plan options and pricing please visit x10premium.com
