(See title)

Note I've already read the Dec. 13th, 2019 announcement, please don't point me to it. I'm asking for a progress report with estimated completion date.

Thanks!

I agree that it would be nice to have a progress report.

My account has been migrated in the past few hours. The parameters for POP/SMTP have changed (no longer encrypted :() and my server has also changed. It seems that no mail has been lost during the time that I couldn't retrieve it.

There is still hope :)

I can now access to directadmin. Im from x01 server to x12 server. Just my x10hosting provided URL and my Alias domain differ in content, It should be same as they had the same directory index.

my own domain

UPDATE: I forgot that my own domain still not been redirect to the new server as mention on the announcement . From the look of it seem the migration came from the backup instead of live server.

Thanks to all for keeping me updated :)
Appears I'll have to be a *bit* more patient, as it seems my site hasn't been moved yet.

Happy Holidays to all!

Bump.

Now, clicking on "Opwn Cpanel" returns a timeout error.

I *guess* that's "progress". Any word on when the migration should be done?

@ pintwin173
ive heard on other posts about another week or so to finish.
plus they have to do the fine tuning on top of that.
so probably closer to 2 weeks to call it finished.
but thats just guessing

I am waiting for DNS update for paid/free top domain. Since the server pointing it is not the same for directadmin hosted.

tubemusi, my site has been migrated but I'm now having problems with it as well:

1 - My landing page displays briefly, then re-forms the page link to a page which doesn't exist.
http://unsolicited.elementfx.com becomes http://www.unsolicited.elementfx.com/blog when it should redirect to http://unsolicited.elementfx.com/blog
I suspect it *might* have to do with my htaccess file, but others report problems remain even after editing it.
2 - I can find the folders for my email accounts (in/out/etc), but not sure how to set up my mail client or import the old accounts into the new ones.
Not sure what email client I *was* using under Cpanel.
I'll have to investigate further. In the meantime, good luck to you!

Thank you very much. I hope this problem will be solved soon, as it is one of the few free hosting that has been great for me, and it would be a shame to move to another one. I trust x10hosting, and I will wait for them to solve it.

Does anyone have any idea when this will be straitened out? I manage a site for a volunteer organization and when members go to the site they only get a message saying "Apache is functioning normally"

you need to remove any reference to https on your site.
x10 is no longer using https.

if you use cloudflare you need to change it there to.

WARNING THIS IS OUTDATED INFORMATION HENCE IT QUOTED FOR REFFERENCE. SSL is Disable for free hosting
Outdated Information said:
or change a settings. due to a feature of DirectAdmin there is an option regarding to access of http and https as same or different file to be serve.
x10hosting still serving ssl but cannot be change by any user to match in our domain so this will lead an error of mismatch/invalid ssl certificate.

In file manager all file hosted on "domains" then your "personal_domain" under that folder are http is "public_html" while https is "private_html"

so anyway under folder "Account Manager" > "Domain Setup" click your domain that giving you an a difference of hosted files for http and https.
There should be a check box for "Secure SSL" you had an option to whether disable this or not.

if enable/check "Secure SSL" an option will appear "• private_html setup" click this and select symbolink between private_htmp and public_html to be the same. All files should edit under "public_html"
OR select "use a directory name private_html" to edit only https on private_html folder.
If I were you you should use the symbolink

if disable/uncheck "Secure SSL" all files are hosted on public_html and the private_html is there but cannot use to host.

you can check my test site under my account its setting are both enable "Secure SSL" and "use private_html" and using Cloudflare SSL Full setting not the Full(strict).
http://cms.finite.one
https://cms.finite.one

if cannot access my test site on http check this site https://www.thesslstore.com/blog/clear-hsts-settings-chrome-firefox/ for information regarding HSTS settings

@ cjptomas80
staff had said free accounts do not have access to SSL (https)
since the migration to directadmin. only paid accounts do.
just putting it out there.

We don't have access to configure ourselves the ssl settings but we can still use albeit wrong/mismatch certificate since it only validate the root domain of the server itself. This is not applicable on SEO since invalid certificate is used in domain. But using cloudflare is possible to mend this. As you can see on my test site on this thread. But not possible on subdomain provided by x10hosting. To use the https is under account management > domains

Your welcome.
By the way if you look at DirectAdmin > Site Summary / Statistics / Log > Account Configuration
you can see what enable to our account per user. WARNING: DO NOT CLICK "EDIT ACCOUNT CONFIGURATION"

The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is enable as shown but to configure it should be on DirectAdmin > Extra Features
Sadly this SSL configuration module is not available since not showing on "Extra Features"
