Depends on what error you get and if the site is ready for php version 8.0.
A trick that has worked for many is to change to any version, set it as current and then change back to whatever it was originally and set that. Seems like the application that allows the change of php version forgot what to load up for users after the restore was done.
If that doesn't help, you could try upping the version to 8.0, if you have an updated version of wordpress it should work fine. If you need assistance please to post back, preferably with what happens when login fails (error message specifically would help if you get one)
