CS3 is better. When I had CS2, it lagged and crashed, but not CS3, and "imageready" is basically built-in to CS3. You can still edit animated GIFs in CS3.

FireFTP is good. And after I got Adblock plus, I have never seen an ad since. Also DisableBackspaceNavigation is good if you often use the backspace key for mistakes, and you find that the browser went back a page. Downloads in Tab is good for people who don't like the popup window for downloads.
