8800GTS (640 MB) - Opinions?

I'm getting that particular graphics card at a highly reduced price from someone I know. Any opinions on this card? I'm going to replace my 8600GT

The 8800GTS is a lot better than the GT you have, that's for sure. It's a pretty good card and should handle anything you need to play, including Crysis, given that you aren't bottlenecked by the CPU.

That is a very very nice upgrade. I have an 8800GT which is a little bit better, and it plays any game out there. With that card I prefer playing first person shooters on the PC over the Xbox 360. Games like Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Orange Box, FEAR, etc look just as good in my eyes on the PC as the 360 versions, with the 8800 GT. Get a nice monitor to compliment that beast of a card.
