You must be getting tired of hearing this, but

  • Username: bostonte
    Your Domain:
    bostontechnicalwriter.x10host.com

I hit open cPanel and I get:

    Sign in Successful

Please standby while transfer you to your web hosting account.
An error has occurred forwarding your sign in. Retry

The "retry" gets the same thing

I login about 5x per week and add to one file
This is happening more and more often lately

When I try to open c-panel by clicking the button next to my account info, I see this error:
Sign in Successful
Please standby while transfer you to your web hosting account.
An error has occurred forwarding your sign in. Retry

I tried to login to DirectAdmin (https://x12.x10hosting.com:2222) with the same credential, but no luck.
Please help me resolve the issue.

Update - Attempt to login via https://x13.x10hosting.com:2222/did not work. Used same userid and password as sso login and community login.

Start DirectAdmin
Manage your domains, databases & other server info.

Hmm, login details do not seem to be correct. Please try again.

Access to DirectAdmin worked from the SSO login in the past 7 days.

Once again there is a problem with the https://x10hosting.com/sso/login page.
this issue was reported before here

there is a temporary work around for this problem.
if you know what server your website used edit this link....
https://x15.x10hosting.com:2222/
change the x15 to one for your server

examples,
x11 would be https://x11.x10hosting.com:2222/
x12 would be https://x12.x10hosting.com:2222/
x13 would be https://x13.x10hosting.com:2222/
and so on.
But using your forum login credentials should work.
as this type of login does not allow e-mail based (with the @) usernames.

also note that to many failed login attempts will result in your
ip address getting blocked, so you need to use caution.

i have tested that method as i to am effected for logging in.
it worked 100% fine for me and still does.
if your trying this way you use your forum username and password.
not the same as your main SSO log in page.

if it fails then its possible you triggered an ip address block.
if that happens only staff can help to unblock you.

It appears that logging in via the x10 SSO page is not working still.

Here s A TEMPORARY solution until staff can fix the problem.

using your forum login information,if you are on the x11 server,
you can try https://x11.x10hosting.com:2222

if your on the x12 server try https://x12.x10hosting.com:2222
and so on.

this is only A TEMPORARY solution until staff can fix the issue
also this will NOT count as your monthly sign in.

note:
to many failed login attempts will cause your ip address to get blocked.
Thx, it worked!

I am just another member like you, i am not part of the official staff.
what i posted is only what has worked for myself and for others to.
if this method does not work for you then you may have a different cause.
which may need official support or a staff member with privileged access.

its possible your ip address was blocked for failed login attempts.
if both login and your website do not work for you then your ip was blocked.
and would require staff to unblock you.

can you access your website or do you get an error or denial page ??

have you recently changed any user info before the problem.
or has it been the same user and passwords.

Um. First, I don't know whether I'm on the x11 or the x12 server.

Second, the only forum login information I have, and that I used just now to get in here, is the same user ID (my email address) and PW as I normally use to sign in via the x10 SSO page.

Third, I just tried both of the links you supplied, with my ID and PW; both said "Hmm, login details do not seem to be correct. Please try again."

Next steps?

Thanks!

And I just noted that the reply I saw came from spacresx, a fellow member of the forum, not from X10hosting staff.

Thanks much for your help; but is there a mechanism for actually requesting support from X10hosting? Do members of their tech support staff read this forum?
