Cinema 3D TV of LG Acquire Full HD Certification

A recent announcement by LG Electronics (SEO:066570 ) indicated that the Cinema 3D TV was recently given by VDE the FULL HD certification while in 3D mode. A certification issued by VDE is deemed to add authenticity to a 3D TV since it is widely accepted as the biggest international scientific and technical association in Europe.
According to the CEO and president of LG, Havis Kwon, the certification gives credence that the Cinema 3D TV of LG provides a FULL HD experience while it is on 3D TV mode. The product is touted to offer the most relaxing 3D viewing experience by the company.
A screen which is considered FULL HD indicates that it provides a 1.080 definition line for its horizontal image. According to the company it provides a Film Patterned Retarder or FPR technology for the Cinema 3D TV. The technology reportedly offers a pair of 540 image lines which merges to generate the illusion of 3D aside from the 1080p image.

The VDE certification for the product has made it an HXDTV or 1080p which would dispel reports that it did not provide this level of quality imaging.
The Cinema 3D TV was allowed to use the FULL HD symbol in the market in China following the ruling by the electronic Chamber of Commerce in China that the product was able to meet the 1080p standard for televisions. This applied to both the horizontal and vertical display resolution.

The ‘Flicker Free’ certification was also acquired for the Cinema 3D TV by LG from the top two safety and quality assurance certification agencies in Europe. The claim of sharper 3D images is now official for this product of LG. A consumer magazine in the US has also named the Cinema 3D TV of LG as the best in the United States market. The brighter images, lighter 3D glasses as well as better viewing angle were among the advantages that the Cinema 3D TV of LG had over its competitors.
