Not to jump in on this thread but i am having the same issues. Either get an error that says:
The connection has timed out

The server at aftershock.exofire.net is taking too long to respond.

That error is what i get from the link in my email :http://aftershock.exofire.net:2082
After Attemting just to view the blank web page using: :http://aftershock.exofire.net

I still get the same error. The connection has timed out
The server at aftershock.exofire.net is taking too long to respond.

Now this usually means that the server is busy. However sometimes it could be caused by the browser i am using. I have tried using both Mozilla Firefox and IE. I cleared both cache's and still the same problem.

So i hope this helps in solving our issues.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Can you PM me your IP I will check to make sure the firewall didn't block it, if not make sure 2082 outbound is enabled.

Ok works great. Only issue now is when i try to login into the cpanel it says login attempt failed. So what i am going to do is reset my password and see if that works.

Thanks for the help and your time.

Well, reset the password, you were blacklisted from the server for going over the limit of login attempts.

You can do it at http://x10hosting.com/account.

Here is what i get when i try to change the password via your link. Whoops, it appears that there was an error modifying your domain. The errors are listed below.

* Domain changes are currently disabled, please try again later.

You may attempt to correct any errors that occurred after continuing.
Edit:
Here is something i noticed lodated at the top left of the account page:Invalid authentication token, please try again.

I would like to extend a special thank you to Brandon for the time and effort he put in to getting my problems solved.
I made it rather difficult it seemed and he had the patience to stick with me until i was on my way to creating a Website.

With that said i give x10Hosting a big thumbs up in the area of staff friendliness and concerns with users and their websites.

Thanks again.
