Also cPanel appears to have been disabled:
Sorry for the inconvenience!
The filesystem mounted at /home/[username] on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition.
I appreciate you are probably aware, however as there was no information on the Status site (http://status.x10hosting.com/) I thought I'd post here in case you have some more information about the issue.

Regards,

Arite.

Yep same issue,

Hi,
I received the error message below and cannot log in to my control panel.
I do not wish to add anymore data to this partition and cannot remove any files myself as I cannot access them.

Thankyou and all the best from,
Martin

I have deleted 20 Mb on my websites to upload new images but disk come back full 5 seconds later...
Perhaps there is a script that fills the disk...

You deleting 20 mb would not make much of a difference since the entire partition is full (despite the error message actually suggesting otherwise).

I got this message too. How do I delete anything if I can't access Cpanel?

Just out of curiosity --

I've been slowly building my site here for the past 2 months w/free hosting and I'm amazed at the constant problems. Is this usual or just a bad time ??

It happens when either somethings misconfigured (rarely the case) or when someone manages to bypass quotas and uploads a ton of stuff they aren't supposed to. This actually seems to be a partial combination of the two, but I'm finding a lot of abusers so far that have been escorted from the service permanently; the error should be gone for now while we continue to do more cleanup (it's showing 98% full right now).

If people are able to bypass the quota, then something IS configured. Does this happen on the other servers?

On occasion yes; cPanel's quota system doesn't always seem to update when it should. The problem is when someone/something sponges the disk space; there were a few users I found that had error_log's over 5gb, so that wasn't helping things either. In any case, it's showing lots of space free and we're working on identifying what caused it to get out-of-sync again so it doesn't continually happen.

That error's not related to the disk full error; have you tried going into that folder through the file manager and erasing it, as it suggests to try?

Hi, Livewire,
Thanks for getting back
Yes I have deleted the folder but it makes no difference. Have tried!
I am worried that my website is corrupted and need help in order to fix it.

Concerned!
Martin
