Apologies if this is bad,. it's my first one.

Firstly buy one, there cheap and can be purchased from https://clients.x10hosting.com/order.php?gid=6

Once you have paid etc you will recieve a welcome message giving you the link to access your brand new VPS.
Inside this E-Mail will be 2 links. Both are links to log in to your VPS. The first is an unsecured connection, it is better to go for the second link if your browser supports it. (IE8 does)

You'll Get a welcome screen for this. The first thing you should do is change your password. You can copy your current password straight from the email and set your own.

In the email the connection links have ports assigned if you remove this port so you just get your IP then you can see you have your own IP address on the WWW.

If you go to your filemanager you can go to var/www/html/ to find the site root for your website
You now have 2 choices you could either Upload your website or create is from scratch. Either way, make sure it is the directory var/www/html/ and your done.

Is it like a remote desktop connection? Could you show us a screenshot?

Nice tutorial, but hopefully all this will be covered by the FAQ and help sections on the new site when it finally comes online. ;)

Nice guide! Might want to fix those grammatical errors though!
Sometime I might get one of these. They look like a great deal. :)

Because OpenVZ doesn't support Windows. Maybe if we can get enough interest out of these VPS plans we can expand to offering Windows based VPS's too.
