I would like some feedback on my site (http://msmcctt.exofire.net/msmcctt). Good bad or indifferent. (As an edit, this isn't my first site, just the first one using a CMS, php, mysql, etc... My old html site is at http://msmcctt.exofire.net)

The site isn't as flashy as most since it's for our simulations site. My intent was for a clean site that can be clearly understood.

So far, all but the Comments and the Calendar pages validate. The comments page has tons of unclosed tags (for all of the radio buttons, text boxes and select boxes) that I haven't been able to figure out how to close in Website Baker. The calendar is another project completely. It's nice but I need to figure out how to get it compliant. (http://www.planscalendar.com).

With the tutorial on the WB website, I created the template and modified the navigation bar.

Thanks

That is a pretty nice site, easy to read, very plain and simple, nice easy background, etc. :] [8/10]

Well thank you. Now if I could figure out how to get those two pages to validate I'd be in heaven.

Well, it was a lot of tutorials, forums and websites that I read that made the difference. My old site is still on the server at http://msmcctt.exofire.net and it was pretty much all html. I really like working with the CMS now.

And thank you.

I am having trouble setting up my new site. It's a little embarassing, but I can't figure out how to upload files! Where do I do this? What is the FTP server?

I really enjoyed it. Easy to read, doesn't take much to load. Quite good for a first website 8/10

I'm on the road right now so sorry for the late reply.

Thank you so much for the replies. I do appreciate it. I guess it turned out better than I thought since I didn't really see any "Fix this" or "Lose that" comments. (If there are any, please tell me, I have very "thick skin").

As you may have noticed, graphics are not my "strong suit". I try, though.

Since this is for my job (they didn't ask for it, I just did it because we needed it) I don't get to go crazy with the site. Your comments tell me I went in the right direction. I do plan, with approval from the "powers that be", to add a forum (SMF) and chat (AJAX Chat) to the site in the future.
