I restore it, and apparently it only restores the first 500 or so kbs. My DB is approximately 100 MB big, when it's not GZipped.

How do I bypass that? Is there a way of doing that without PHP so it can all be inserted using one command?

    Thanks.

If you're using phpmyadmin then the file limit is 51,200KB. I don't c a problem with that!!

But how are you restoring it?

I am using the CPanel version. It's in the "Backup" page, where I upload the gz (called origin.gz) which I downloaded off of my old server.

It loads the first 500 or so kbs and it just stops...

    Help!

It's not damaged. I figured out what was wrong, the server doesn't accept many queries at once...

My backup has over 500,000 queries, and at the beginning I set my restore script to 2500 queries a load... Didn't work. 2000 queries a load, didn't work. 1000, nope. 500? nope. 100? nope. 15? Finally...

Each load took less than 0.1 seconds, but 500,000 / 15... It took almost an hour @_@
