Hey, guys!

I'm making a website for my class. We have picked your hosting service (my recommendation ;)).
And we've decided to take free plan. But, we are most likely going to register a domain. .net one.

So, I'm asking is it possible to register a top level domain on free account? If it's possible, where can I see the price?

Thank you!

Just register any domain at any registrar you wish, then enter _that_ domain name in your account panel. If you prefer, you could get it free from x10 for 9000 forum credits (I wouldn't hold my breath; you currently got 589.89).

Thanks for quick replies, guys.
I think I wasn't quite precise. I was asking, does x10 register domains?

I'd like that domain to lead to certain folder on server.

Is all that possible?

x10 does not offer domain registration right now. But you could register a domain outside of x10 and then host it on the x10 servers.

some random host. Register your domain with some ramdom host (http://www.free-webhosts.com has a list) and change the DNS to this:

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

Then add yourdomain.net to cPanel.
