I'd like to say this worked but it didn't. . thanks anyway..

This is the most infuriating problem..really

okay I went through the code. your problem is with IE right.

HTML:

</head>
<body onload="MM_preloadImages(

    scroll="no">

then remove the <body scroll="no"> in your <styles> declaration. it will give you errors...

Sorry to come back to this - everything is working great but there is one more thing I would like to ask. It goes out to everyone but in particular those who were so helpful in this thread:

Is it possible to prevent scrolling horizontally (on the x-axis) while allowing scrolling vertically (on the y-axis) in Internet Explorer. If so how is that effect produced? Many of my efforts have failed.
