Does anyone know if mod_gzip or mod_deflate (preferably the later) is installed on Apache.
If so, has anyone had any luck in using them in their .htaccess file?
If you go here: http://www.whatsmyip.org/mod_gzip_test/
And type in: http://forums.x10hosting.com
You'll notice that x10 does seem to have one of these modules installed and was able to compress their page by 80%.
I'm also trying to do the same while I wait on support.
