So when I try to login I see the message "Any account that has not been accessed since September 3rd, 2021 must do a password reset". When I do a reset, I get the error message "Bad email address". It's a Gmail with a +, which I assume might be causing the problem. Anyway to fix this?

Please read the full thread carefully. here

part ways down for free account users you will see this.
You will have to use the forgotten password function no matter what.
Even if you logged in yesterday, the new system will not recognize your password.
Failure to do this will result in your account being locked after many failed login attempts.
i clicked the "forgot password" link (not reset password)
This process worked fine for me on x15.

Just thought I'd do a quick update. Clicked to verify my email address, got a similar message as before. I changed my email address to one without the +, and it verified just fine.

URL encoding. The RFC states that the space character " " should be encoded when it is in a URL as either %20 or +. When your email contained a +, it was replaced with a " ". We don't allow spaces in an email address.
