Can you rename my domain name from 'thediyfriesproject.x10host.com' to 'diydaily.x10host.com'?

Those are subdomains and they are not changeable. You have to make new accounts.

Its against against the T.O.S to have multiple accounts. Someone else got theirs changed by asking.
