Is there a possibility to access the amount of bandwidth used and if not would it be possible to add this? it would be useful to be able to use PHP to automatically switch to a low bandwidth version of the site based on the time of the month / bandwidth left / visitors a day.

Well it would be better to use an automated algorithm to slowly take away page elements. When you log into your account your supposed to see the bandwidth used (although it doesn't really show it for me, it just stays 0), how does that access the data and how does Cpanel access the data? It shouldn't be to hard to add a script that accesses the data and returns it in some format like XML.
Of course it's just a suggestion, I've never seen this feature before on any other hosts but it sure would come in handy.

Check that out, if you know PHP you could edit it to work with x3, it's for x2, or I can look later.
