Re: Take this site offline

Why do you want it down?

Is he using something from your site?

( P.S you only have got 268 credits. )

He is using all his info to scam people. Bigjoe, send a mail to geocities, and report the site as a scammer.

Re: Take this site offline

yeah, bigjoe email Yahoo!/GeoCities and report them as a spammer.
Though, aren't they doing you a favour? They are getting you customers - they have your link on the page and isn't the email address correct?

Anyway, a contact form:
http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/contactus/email_us.php

No they don't make him a favor. They put his info there, but they use their paypal. Then when someone pays, they get nothing

It's my site, but I don't want it any more and I forgot my geocities password.

Ahhh I thought someone copied it. Well, send a mail to yahoo! and ask them to remove it.

Re: Take this site offline

Well, isn't there a way you could use a Password Reset form? I assume Yahoo! Geocites uses the same account user and pass you use for Yahoo services, and they allow you to reset your password I believe. Otherwise, your best bet is to not get heavy with Yahoo's management if you own that site as after all, you should be the one remembering the username and passwords and since you were the one who uploaded it, should be able to take it off but since I've never used Geocites, you might have to have Yahoo management delete it. Otherwise, do what you think is best.

Just wanted to let you know.

Hilarious thread. Lots of people trying to help & speculating on what the scammer is getting up to - until Bigjoe4 finally replies & points out that it's his own website.

More of the same, please!
