You meet a great person in a bar one night and after much flirting end the evening with a kiss and swap numbers. The next day you meet up with your best friend who introduces their new partner and it turns out to be the same person.

What do you do? and why?

i would mention it then and there, so my choice isn't even in the list.

I would choose the second option. If that someone takes it the wrong way, then they are not good enough friends to trust you.

I'm with truthguild on this one; I'd say something right then. If the new partner is slimy, then your friend deserves to know right away. The new guy should have a dang good explanation or be made to take a hike. If their relationship is open enough for that kind of thing (just some innocent flirting); well, I'd be uncomfortable with that and I would tell them because they should both know and respect that.

I think I'd just tell my friend about the events of last night because I don't want my friend to be cheated on.
