Send an e-mail using wordpress

Hey guys
I'm not the kind to ask question around without a deep search before...

I installed wordpress recently
http://lebruloir.x10.mx

Since then I never received any mail from it (such as registration or anything)
I also installed a plugin (woocommerce) and when it is supposed to send me an email it doesnt.

So I googled around and found a thread that told me to install a plugin (WP SMTP) and to configure it

So this is what I did

Mail Server Username: lebruloir+lebruloir.x10.mx
Outgoing Mail Server: (SSL) level.x10hosting.com (server requires authentication) port 465
Password: the one I chose when creating the mail -> lebruloir@lebruloir.x10.mx

And still with all these thing I can't receive any email from my wordpress installation
-> while trying everything I could I did received one email, and was unable to recreate what I did to receive it

Does it have something to do with the MX record ? Can I use Gmail SMTP instead (if yes how ?)


So i'm asking for your help because my wordpress without email is just totally worthless

I fixed it here is how :

Using the plugin for wordpress => WP-Mail-SMTP



Using your gmail adress and your gmail password (it will then override the default wordpress adress no matter what
