Wordpress two folders 1database....

Hi

I was wondering if it's possible to have wordpress in two different folders both using the same databse but each using a different theme. I have a theme that I used to use and want people to still be able to look at my blog with but I also have a new theme which I want people to mostly use. Is there a way to have it so say the old theme has all its files in a folder called old so people go to figuresofstick.com/old and the new in the root public_html directory while still using the same database?

I don't see why not, I believe that would work fine as long as the theme option isn't set in the database.

Ok, thanks. I don't believe that it is but I'll double check. is there any way to have a child database that is a mirror of the parent or main database?

Not without having some sort of script to sync them or doubling your queries to insert into two different databases.
(That I know of)
