    Does x10hosting support Self-Registration

No, I have tramped through the entire admin site and have even used the inbuilt help but to no avail. This "Only registered users have browse access" option is not to be found anywhere. The Frontpage permissions dialogue box does not appear but instead I get taken to the site. This could be the...

    Does x10hosting support Self-Registration

I am using FP 2003 for my site. In order to create a registration web, I need to create a subweb and then use unique permissions for this sub web which are different from those of the parent web. So, I create the subweb and then close the site on frontpage. I then log onto the site live on the...

    Setting Permissions for Subwebs

Well, Frontpage refers to it as Subweb but I guess sub-domain would mean the same thing. Basically, its a website nested into the root web (or parent web), but I need to know how to set separate user permissions for it from Frontpage (or cPanel if possible).

    Setting Permissions for Subwebs

I am using Frontpage 2003. I created a sub web for which I want to create specific user permissions to and add a password. I am not able to and when I click on Tools>Server>Administration Home, the program tells me that these settings can only be modified through a world wide web browser such as...

    can't upload site

Thanks for the help, but by uploading to the server via cPanel or FTP, those features that rely on FPSE such as as form handlers and such (I have used a few) will not work on the site. But I suppose thats better than nothing! Arjun Guys, I submitted a ticket and the reply I received was ...

    can't upload site

Yes, I did try re-installing the extensions several times but nothing happened. I just typed the url of my website on the frontpage screen (I didn't open up the Secure Web Disk I made using 'Browse") but the same error message came up repeatedly.

    can't upload site

Well... the same thing happened to me when I tried to upload a site via Frontpage 2003 to x10hosting.com, it came up with exactly the same message. I checked that the FPSE were installed but to no avail. I'm not sure why the problem has occurred but it may because Sharepoint Services are not...

Use of index.aspx as an index page?

Thanks guys for your help- it was just that I didn't want to waste time making an ASP.NET page for my home and then find out that it wouldn't be recognised by the server. Just out of interest, what module would they be using to allow Apache to parse ASP.NET pages? Would it be Mod_AspDotNet by...

Use of index.aspx as an index page?

"When someone views a directory in your public_html area, they will see the index page for that directory. When creating your index page, you should use one of the following names (the first one found will be shown if the visitor doesn't type in a specific page in their URL): index.html.var...

Use of index.aspx as an index page?

I am new to x10hosting.com, having created an account only a short while ago. When i start cPanel, it tells me the variety of file formats in which the index page of a directory can be in. I heard that x10hosting.com supports ASP.NET yet index.aspx is not given in the list of index pages that...
