I edited the files in the server, I just tried again and they stayed

I know this is off-topic but all of a sudden my HTML files got deleted, nothing else, only the HTML I tried to copy them back but they just disappear instantly.

If i can, do you know the OS the servers run on?

Do you know any way i can add SSL? Can I SSH in and add a certificate?

I enabled SSL from the cpanel for my site bruuuuh.co.uk. Going to http://bruuuuh.co.uk works fine but when I go to https://bruuuuh.co.uk i get a privacy error. I cant add an SSL certificate through the domain provider as they wont let me because i didnt make a site with them.

So i just need to FTP into the x10 server? I dont get what you mean by "you'll need to copy the files over to the public_html folder of the new domain"

Im trying to link the domain i bought from 1&1 IONOs to my x10hosting site, ive added the domain to the cpanel and changed the nameservers in the domain's control panel and it still wont work.
