Can you at least clear the domain name so I can use it for the new account?

I was setting up an account for a friend of mine and misspelled his email address. It is supposed to be bureau.a001@gmail.com instead of bureau_a001@gmail.com. Is it possible to get the email address changed and the verification email resent? Thank You, Chris
