When I used this option in the past, the sender received no failure message while still there was no reception of the mail. So I had it unchecked for the senders to have some notification that we haven't received their messages.
Now it somehow solved the issue and I received my test message...
The issue is not resolved for me.
I have no incoming mail. They fail with the message: "550 authentication required"
Edit more detailed:
<info@cronos-electronics.gr>: host mail.cronos-electronics.gr[198.91.81.13]
said: 550 authentication required (in reply to RCPT TO command)
OK, I have made my records better but the result is the same: "550 authentication required". The server is reachable but does not accept incoming mail.
Thanks for the intodns.com link, It is very helpful!
Thank you for the suggestions but I had no luck.
Without www cname, my site is not discoverable.
With the rest of your suggestions, at some point I stopped receiving the rejection e-mail (with the 550 error) but the mail was not received.
I restored the MX record, left the IP range as you said...
My domain is cronos-electronics.gr, I have two mail addresses, the default "cronos@cronos-electronics.gr" and the one used mostly "info@cronos-electronics.gr". None can receive mail.
Webmail (roundcube) shows my existing mails but that's all. What else can I do with it?
This issue is not resolved.
All incoming mail is rejected with this error message. I didn't do anything to cause it and it seems others have the same issue.
Has anyone figure out how to solve this?
Thank you
It seems i've been sending spam without my knowledge.
I just found out.
1517 entries this month.
I changed my password but I think it will not help.
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks,
Theodore
