I'm trying to write to a file in php that writes to another one, however, I have noticed that the file is not writeable. The file is chmoded.

I have tried the website out yesterday and it was so fast and everything, now, whenever I try to access the site, it either takes ages or doesn't load AT ALL. This is a big problem, is it always that slow or was there a problem in the server?
