Hay all, i just want to let you all know that i am back on the x10hosting servers and am once again hosting a site here as well. i wish you all a good day.
Not meaning to repeat a great suggestion, i would go with akeeba, i actually have had to use it a few times to restore a site and it has always worked perfectly for me. So i would agree with wilson.
i joined x10 2 years ago now. in that time, i have watched what was a very active community site turn into a site where i see a couple questions get asked or answered every day. But nothing like i remember.
What happened.
at most 10-20 at a time. i mainly want a document management system. a place where a certant amount of select people can go and work on documents on line and edit them collaboratively
I went to the main x10hosting site today on my laptop (windows 8 pro running avast av) and according to avast the main site is infected with something. can someone check this and let me know if i am getting a false positive because i am extremly concerned about the safety of my website.

I should add that Streaming is something i would like to have. a means of using the server as something to send media to and from to view and save to as well as edit.

I want to be able to use what i have and would prefer to use windows server 2012 because i have found that it is less of a pain for me than linux (lets just say some of the hardware i have is not exactly linux...
