This has been happening to me quite a bit too.... I had a potential site sponsor attempt to look at my site last week, and it was down. I know I should provably have a website this important like this on a paid server...

what does my domain have to do with my free hosting? The domain is separate right? (please excuse my lack of knowledge) My actual website is on a YAHOO paid server, the domain just forwards to yahoo....

I purchased a domain from x10 hosting for 9.95 a year but needless to say, its really not worth it if the quality of service im receiving now is the intended quality. I understand x10 is doing massive change overs and things like that, but their paid services have a 99.9% up time promise...

I choose to reinstall my entire joomla setup, I deleated the ftp account, and the mysql database too.... I did it all over from scratch and it works fine now! :) And for the ftp account not working.... it always way, I didnt reay the error meassage close enough, I feel rather stupid. Im so...

Its not the template, I switched it back to the default template and it still did not work. Thanks for the fast reply scottd! Ill post it in the 3rd party section, only if you can assure me this problem is not from the domain being added to /public_html/filetest, and not using that domain...

I found my problem, i was mixing the user name and database name up! thanks anyway!

Whoot obama! Obama tends to be leading in the national polls, this seems to be true here too. I really do hope obama wins, we need some change in government. His political views seem to be in tune with mine. Somethings obama is for though I am not but no political leader is perfect.

I love its speed, IM using it right now actually, im trying to give it its fare share of time. It seem seems to load everything i throw at it almost fine. I was told it has large security holes, i dont know how true that is. but it lacks some features, but i love the ui.
