the issue is opening the csv file with Excel. Excel is what is stripping the 0 off. The problem isn't the export from the database.

you are passing in a password, are you sure it is the correct password? If the password wasn't being accepted it would say (using password: No).

Have you thought about Linux at all? Then you can keep the same hardware you have now. Some of the package managers offer very easy installs and they replicate very similar desktop look and feel.
