Well the error message said older PHP, but in any case, the Joomla issue, is not what I was concerned about, PHP or nay. Just asking about the error when clicking the access backup button. But, problem solved. Older Joomla - happy life :)

Thanks for that, but same error. I've recreated the website in the meantime. I will use a 3rd party backup solution in the future. The site died because Joomla released an update and the new one uses a newer PHP than this hosting. I shoulda checked. But I would think that x10 would like...
