Thanks.. I tried a record before nameservers and it just took me to the Apache landing page ... I read somewhere you have to validate the domain first via nameservers and then a record will work.... Is this correct?

Is this a thing? I currently have my own domain set as a pointer to my mx domain name using mx nameservers, all works fine ... Can i now remove the name servers and rely on an A Record to point to domain using an ip address or does it have to use nameservers?
