Persistent Object Cache with memcached in Wordpress - Litespeed cache plugin

Hello,

I have a wordpress site with the Litespeed cache plugin installed. I am running PHP 8.3 with the memcached extension installed. However when I go to the cache settings for the Litespeed plugin it says it is unable to connect to memcached. Anyone know of a way to get this to work? Is it on a different port than default? Thanks for the help.

Ok so I installed the redis extensions and still connection failed. Are these daemons installed and running on the server?

redis is not enabled on free hosting
