Thank you for the reply. I read that status message but was not clear on the implications. I should just hold tight until the migration is complete and my settings/files will be restored?

Overnight my entire website was deleted. For awhile I was denied entry into the cpanel due to an "unknown error", but once that was resolved FTP shows an empty directory. Navigating to the URL gives a 404. Trying to create a file in the (newly empty) www/ directory gives a permission denied...
