OK, it was definitively the damn DMC Firewall.... a hint to anybody with a Joomla website: DON'T INSTALL IT. I will make sure to report it to the Joomla Community to be banned. You guys were talking about CloudFare.. woulc you please explain me how it works?

it seems the .htaccess was changed when no one of us was accessing the website... I replaced it with the previous version and now nothing will load at all..

It could be the DMC firewall... I will try to delete the module from CPanel..
