Though it really doesn't matter, for a "professional" website having www. at the beginning does tend to look a bit more authentic. Though that probably has to do with the fact that it has been used for years.

I don't believe I've read those, gonna have to check them out. I read alot of Issac Assimov, and Terrance Dicks is my favorite at the moment.

The real question you should ask is are you the original or the clone, and when the "others" are eliminated does that confer the originality to you if you are the clone?

I currently am using dreamweaver myself, you can use your ftp thru dreamweaver to upload your files this is the way i have been doing it

lol yeah it is a long gap, I agree with you about experimenting and curiosity is the best way to learn. the first bit of PHP I tried was on the guestbook I was working on with the site. but I got a little frustrated with it so I put it on the back burner for a little bit. Ill jump back into it...

well obviously the server admin should fix this problem and im sure they are working on it. We must have faith in the admins lol

is there a problem with the ftp servers? im using dreamweaver 8 and its not letting me connect to the servers at all. I keep getting error messages when trying to connect ok update. the server is letting me connect as long as i dont have the host directory specified any ideas?
