By default .htaccess is hidden. You'll need to show hidden files Then you can edit, delete. If you install scripts like Wordpress or Phpbb. Most likely the .htaccess file will be created with some configuration. Make sure you don't replace or delete those code.

If you're creating a blog, better of install Wordpress. It's free and have thousands and thousands of free themes... There should be free CSS style online which you can use, but they have a license before you can use it.

ok, switch to the standard cpanel and there should be an option to change ftp details EDIT: host has a problem at the moment, which causes to unable to login oh ftp/cpanel and even loading the site.

No no no, under the main page if you're using the basic theme, click on New Website or something and will give you the options to create a new site. If you're using the standard cPanel, just scroll down and there will be an option to creation a new page.

okay, from what I know when yo uninstall stuff through acp or any control panel, they don't usually remove database tables, so you need to remove it yourself. Drop those tables. ;)

Yeah. Big sites like Playstation Blog, Ubisoft Blog, Xbox Live's Major Nelson etc all using wordpress. Also Microsoft Word do support wordpress post writing on the go, not sure about others. I mean really up to that person.

If you have installed too much plugins then you have to disable some. You should really check the comment system, apply spam protection or use disqus or lifefire or just disable it. That used to be happening to me. I installed spam protection and only allows logged in user to comment and require...

Yeah, looks like the yourwebsite.com/cpanel url will most likely get you suspended. I know, it's tricky. I got warned even I was logged into cpanel. They told me to log in with x10hosting.com/portal instead.

Thats happens sometimes as well before the migration. The system keep resetting to the classic cpanel not the basic one.
