    Change Domain Name

What I would try: 1. Add mitchellstokes.x10.mx as an "add on" domain -- put it in its own directory 2. Add a redirect in the .htaccess file in the directory that contains the old domain. See: http://kb.mediatemple.net/questions/242/How+do+I+redirect+my+site+using+a+.htaccess+file%3F You want a...

    Change Domain Name

To fix your WordPress installation see: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL You have to tell the WordPress script the new domain name. That is why your site currently is not really functional. All the links and css and js point to your old domain name.

Java is not supported on the free servers. The only scripting language supported is PHP.

    403 Error

Upload a index.html page. I believe it has to do with the .htaccess file. If "Indexing" is turned off and there is no "home page", you will get a 403 if you do not request a specific file. EDIT: Do you have an index.php page? I do get a 403 there but a 404 on index.html.

    Issue with site.

My understanding is that Softaculous is a third party service. x10 pays for it and Softaculous supplies the installers. They are the ones who include the scripts. Since the script is open source, its not costing Softaculous anything to include it. Not sure if x10hosting can "edit" the list...

    Issue with site.

That script (from what I can find on the Web) seems to be pretty old -- and trying to install it via Softaculous says "This script is not compatible with PHP version : 5.3+" -- hence won't run here.

Can I change my domain name?

You can use Softaculous from the cPanel to install Joomla. It installed 3.3.6 with no problems on xo4, so there should be no problem with PHP version.

    Question

When you sign up, they remotely turn on your web cam and use facial recognition software to rate your appearance. You are rated: 4 -- you should be a model to 1 -- please take of the Halloween mask and you are assigned xo1 if you were rated a 1, xo2 if you were rated a 2, etc.

    mime_content_type not supported?

It's not x10hosting. It's PHP. The function was deprecated and then removed. http://php.net/manual/en/ref.fileinfo.php is the suggested replacement.

    Very slow website

Loads fast for me (Chrome, Iron, FireFox, IE). What browser are you using? As pointed out, you have a bunch of 404 Not Found -- mostly on JavaScript and CSS files. That can cause some browsers to delay displaying the page.
