Yeah that's the same answers I'd got if I google'd "503 error" I was hoping if anyone could help me troubleshoot this instead if possible :)

I've tried installing it through "Softaculous" and without. With Softaculous, the error you will always get will be sql issue And without Softaculous (from file manager) you'll always get 503 error even though quadruple checked all permissions 755 on all folders and even checked files and sqls.

I swear this is the most impossible script ever to be installed on x10hosting servers. I like their hosting but it is impossible to install modx. I revive this post cause it obviously hasn't been fixed after all these years.
