I am currently on PHP Version 2 and when I try to connect to a postgreSQL database, I get this error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined function pg_connect() in /home/slhshos/public_html/StudentSIS/database.inc.php on line 19 Do I need PHP Version 3 for the pg_connect() to become active?

no I do not see an error log. I believe it is saying that the hostname or ip of the database server is worng. What is the ip or hostname of the PostGreSQL server supposed to be? Edit: now I am no longer seeing that error, I am now getting an error that says call to undefined function...
