Hi, In can't install Joomla 3.1 unless Magic Quotes GPC is turned off. PHPinfo indicates it's turned on. Is there a setting in .htaccess? Thanks, Rick

Tried it again, rename index to index.php, no other index except index.txt. Still redirecting x10hosting.com. In other hosting sites I use the Domain manager and what directory it's set to, here I can't tell. Rick

Hi, I cleared the cache on both IE and Firefox. The domain riker.x10hosting.com still redirects to www.x10hosting.com on both browsers . I rename the index.php to index.txt and created a index.html because Joomla is in the install stage, preventing hackers. Rick
