What kind of upstream are you running on the FiOS? If you have 5-7Mbps of bandwidth on the upload to spare, I wouldn't mind trying out a TF2 server on that. Make sure that you have Business Class service with a Static IP though.

I used to use AVG but since the new version of AVG got bloated, I moved to Avast. Since then, it's been a good move as apparently AVG's new version has been messing people's computers up like crazy.

I've been able to make Desktop pictures GIF images before. I haven't tried it in Vista yet though.

That GIF image actually looks a lot better than the YouTube version! Come on, GIF is supposed to look crummy! :P

Any hard drive should work with it just as long as it's fairly new or is new, regardless if it is a pre-built or not. If you're using an old Parallel port instead of a SATA port for the drive, the worst that could happen is that you need to find what jumper the drive needs to be set to in order...

x10 Should not close. I've never had issues with them, and when the servers are down, I know about it. Within the last few months my site has in fact had 99.9% uptime.
